Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau Wins Excellence in Innovation Award
Batavia, Ohio- Friday February 10, 2017- The Clermont Chamber of Commerce awarded the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau with the Excellence in Innovation award at the Chamber’s 2017 Annual Meeting & 2016 SBDC Business Excellence Awards Luncheon. The meeting was held in front of a large crowd at the Holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati- Eastgate, which included keynote speaker, Congressman Brad Wenstrup.
The Clermont County CVB was one of six companies to accept an award during this meeting. The awards ranged from emerging small business, customer focus, innovative and impact award. Specifically, the Clermont County CVB accepted the Excellence in Innovation Award (1-50 employees), which is recognizing an organization that is demonstrating unique and inventive practice, products or procedures.
“It takes a team effort to produce this much success,” said Mark Calitri, President of the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Calitri expressed his appreciation for support from to the County Board of Commissioners, the CVB Board of Directors and the performance of the hotel partners, including their General Managers and sales team. “The CVB is on a roll. The past three years have led us into new and exciting strategic initiatives for 2017. We have high expectations for the CVB,” said Calitri. “We expect to be able to announce at least two major initiatives this year
